1. RHA MA650i Earbuds – Best Overall

The RHA MA650i Earbuds are rated the best overall because they produce powerful music with a 380.1 dynamic driver and noise isolation ear tips to restrict or eliminate background disturbances, and they were designed exclusively for Apple products such as iPods, iPads, and iPhones.

Standout Features

  •  Lightning connector is equipped
  • Noise-isolation ear tips
  • Deep bass
  • Detailed treble

Aerophonic design

Aside from the features listed above, these earbuds include a clothes clip, a soft carry pouch, a stainless steel ear tip holder, six silicone ear tips in sizes small, medium, and large, and two silicone double phalange ear tips in sizes small and large. It also includes a pair of medium-sized, comfy foam ear tips.

Unfortunately, a few reviewers mentioned that the lightning connector cracked after only a few months.

2. Libratone Lightning Earbuds

The Libratone Lightning Earbuds are the best for iPhone 7 users because they have excellent noise cancellation, are MFI certified by Apple, have excellent sound quality, and have convenient four-button controls for quickly skipping tracks, raising or lowering the volume, answering calls, and turning on the noise cancellation.

Standout Features

  • Libra tone Q adapt
  • MFI certified
  • Premium sound quality
  • 4-button remote control
  • IPX5 waterproof rating

These lightning earphones will appeal to anyone looking for new headphones for their Apple device. They are waterproof, so if you enjoy running in all types of weather, you should get your hands on them. You can run in a major snowstorm, massive volumes of sleet falling from the sky, or regular rainfall without worrying about your earbuds fizzing out due to water exposure.

Some reviewers were unimpressed with the ear tips. They didn’t like how they fit since they had trouble getting them to fit within their ear canals. They can be overly big at times. They are sometimes too small. Furthermore, one reviewer experienced trouble connecting his earbuds to his iPhone X, which is frustrating.

3. Apple Earpods with Lightning Connector – The Best Cheap Option

Apple Earpods with Lightning Connector are made by everyone’s favorite brand. Unlike standard earbuds, the Earpods are designed to fit comfortably within your ear, have exceptional sound production, low sound loss, and support iOS 10 or later.

Standout Features

  • Rich and deep bass tones
  • Protects against water and sweat
  • Answer and end calls via remote
  • Control music and video via remote
  • Patented Apple design

The amazing thing about these Apple Earpods is that they will work with any iOS 10 device or later as long as it has a lightning connector. Otherwise, connecting them to a device that does not fulfill these standards will render them inoperable.

On the other hand, I like them because they were officially developed by Apple, which means they are of great quality. Other firms’ earphones never seem to live up to my expectations. Something goes wrong with them, and I find myself out of money and out of luck, unable to appreciate my music. In this aspect, Apple never seems to disappoint.

However, a few reviewers have complained that their microphone and one of the earbuds cracked after only a few months. This is the result of a faulty gadget. So if customers notify Apple about the damaged earpods, they will very certainly obtain a replacement. Apple isn’t in the business of upsetting their consumers, so you can be sure they’ll send you new ones.

4. PALOVUE Lightning Headphones

The PALOVUE Lightning Headphones are not only MFI certified, but they also produce high-quality digital music, are comfy, lightweight, fashionable and magnetic, and contain a microphone and universal controls.

Standout Features

  • Compatible with iPhone, iPad, or iPod
  • Built-in microphone
  • Compatible with Siri
  • Lightweight aluminum body
  • Comfortable in-ear design

Do you enjoy running on the beach while listening to music on your iPhone? Or are you looking for a wired connection because you are concerned that a wireless connection may be lost too easily? Then you should consider the Earflows because they have a lightning connector, are MFI certified and will not drain the battery on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod because they were engineered to consume as little power as possible.

Another advantage of these earbuds is that they are quite light. You won’t have to worry about inserting bulky earbuds in your ears that drag your head down. Indeed, the lightweight aluminum construction is both comfortable and convenient, as well as tangle-free.

5. Pioneer Rayz Lightning Earbuds

Pioneer Rayz Lightning Earbuds are gaining popularity due to their hands-free Siri communication, lightning connection, iPhone, iPad, and iPod compatibility, MFI certification, and active noise-canceling capabilities.

Standout Features

  • Compatible with numerous Apple devices
  • Connect to the Pioneer Rayz app
  • Smart mute feature
  • Ear tuning calibration
  • Auto-pause feature

Do you want earphones with all the newest bells and whistles? You’re going to fall head over heels in love with these Pioneer Rayz. Why? They have a one-touch smart button remote, adaptability to tailor all of your settings, a sleek and small design, and other unique features such as auto pause, smart mute, and personalized tuning to fit the audio to your preferences.

Overall, the Pioneer Rayz Lightning Earbuds are a new type of earphone since they offer outstanding smart functions, can be adjusted to your particular preferences, and are small enough to take around in your pocket without being noticed. Not to mention the MFI certification and lightning port for connecting to numerous Apple goods.

6. Best Lightning headphones for value

Apple’s Earpods, the original Lightning headphones, are an excellent value. While Apple no longer includes the EarPods in the package with the iPhone, it continues to sell them at a very reasonable price for individuals who prefer to use simply wired headphones.

The match will split people. There’s no denying that they’re comfy and lightweight, but they’re not the most secure and aren’t a fantastic alternative for workouts. The sound isn’t horrible at all; it’s not the best, but for under $20, there’s nothing to complain about.

The cable’s mic allows you to be heard on calls and also allows for easy tracking and call management using the in-line remote. Sound may leak to those around you, but for simple wired Lightning buds, these will suffice for most people.

7. Sennheiser Ambeo Smart

Sennheiser’s Ambeo Smart headset is a bit of a wildcard entry. They were among the first to have a Lightning connector, but Sennheiser didn’t want to release a standard pair of in-ears. Instead, it debuted with a very distinct selling feature.

The Ambeo headphones have two omnidirectional microphones that provide a 360-degree effect in recorded audio; thus, they may also be used as a microphone for filming videos on your phone. The goal is to immerse yourself in your auditory landscape.

They have ANC but can also let sounds in so you can hear what’s happening around you. They’re also incredibly affordable now that they’re older.

How did we choose the best Lightning headphones

We went back over our reviews from when we were still reviewing Lightning headphones to see which ones we liked and which are still available. Then we looked at the market, read hundreds of first-hand user evaluations, and coupled these with our knowledge of the manufacturers’ sound quality, build quality, and reputation.

Apple EarPods were discontinued.

No, the EarPods themselves have not been discontinued, and they are still available on Apple’s website; however, they no longer come in the box with your new iPhone as they used to.

Does Apple still make Lightning headphones?

Yes, despite the iPhone 15’s USB-C port and the second-generation AirPods Pro 2, Apple still manufactures and sells the Lightning EarPods – at least for the time being.
